Pigment Cell & Melanoma Research (PCMR) Features Orlucent’s First-in-Human Study Results as Cover Article.
Los Gatos, CA, May 8, 2024 – The cover image displays biological activity in the surrounding stroma of an emerging mole in a proof of concept study using a novel, non-invasive imaging method, molecular Skin Fluorescence Imaging (mSFI). This biological activity is reflective of molecular tissue remodeling that occurs during the earliest stages of cancer development, in this case melanoma. The mSFI allows “visualization” of biological processes invisible to the eye, thereby allowing physicians to make better treatment decisions.
